Inn Put El Condor in Sierra of Guara the Pyrenees : Casa El Condor is situated in the hamlet of Paules de Sarsa in the Natural Park, Sierra and Canyons of Guara in the Spanish Pyrenees. It is only 1 hour from Huesca and 2 hours from Zaragoza served by Ryanair from Stanstead. Casa El Condor is an 18th Century typical Aragonese country house that has been converted into an inn and has a pool that is open in the summer. The house is not a registered Casa Rural. The area enjoys a Mediterranean climate (300 days of sunshine) so visitors can enjoy the beautiful countryside at any time of the year.
The Sierra of Guara and its canyons will amaze you (some of the most impressive in Europe) its rocky hills are ideal for hiking and mountainbiking, climbing, canyoning, rafting and much more. There are interesting rocky formations and an exceptional variety of flora and fauna, including Pyrenian newts and vultures. At Santa Cilia Panzano there is the Casa del Buitre (Vulture House). The collection of villages of Alquezar with their local stone architecture, churches, sanctuaries and fountains have been declared an historical and artistic monument as has the medieval city of Ainsa. The cultural park of the Río Vero contains examples of cave paintings. Cecilia and Dany can provide transport if required. Price is pppn for half-board except in July and August when the price is €35 pppn. Rental of rooms only without board is not offered.
