2 lodgings with swimming pool in the Perigord blac : The property is an old farm built in the local stone, fully restored to retain its original character of the stone walls and exposed beams but benefiting from all the comforts of modern living. The two gîtes were once the old farm buildings and provide the ideal place for holidaying as individuals, or for a shared family holiday occupying both gîtes and retaining an amount of privacy. They have recently been renovated.
La Treille is a pretty stone cottage which overlooks the swimming pool.
The property sits in gardens of 4000 m2 and includes a bowls area (pétanque) and has access to many pleasant walks in the nearby forests. The 13 x 9 meters swimming pool is fenced and equipped with an electronic alarm to conform to the new safety standards. Sun loungers are
arranged around the pool for those just wishing to relax in the sun. It is located at 3 km of all trade, same distance of Sarlat and Bergerac and at 4 km of the superb village of Limeuil (one of the most beautiful villages of France), confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère.
Each gite has a kitchen/living area, and a separate WC on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Each gite is also fully equipped and has a dishwasher and washing machine. The terraces overlook the beautiful countryside and have garden furniture and barbecue. A shady parking area has also been created near the properties.
The beautiful landscape is undulating and offers activities such as walking, cycling and horse riding, with canoeing, kayaking and trips on a 'gabarre' available on the river Dordogne.
The gîte is well equipped with electric hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a wood burning stove (wood will be provided for the cooler months). The cosy kitchen/living area opens onto the terrace.
Each lodging includes a separated entry. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Moreover you will also have a terrace with pieces of furniture of garden and barbecue. A shaded carpark was also arranged with the accesses of the field.
For your relaxation, we propose a garden of 4.000 m2 to you, a ground of game of bowls as well as many walks in the neighbouring forests.
Our property is located at the exit of a small hamlet which is to 2 km of the borough of the Bush of Cadouin where there are various trade and services (bakeries, butcheries, superettes, doctors, pharmacy, station, cinema...).
We are with the Country of the Country houses. By making a circle of 30 km around our property, one can visit a score of castles (e.g. Beynac, Castelnau, "Milandes" - castle of Joséphine Baker, Biron) and ten caves. One finds there also ten tourist attractions which make the fame of Périgord, namely Laroque Saint-Christophe, Lascaux, Sarlat, Bergerac, Monbazillac as well as the country houses (Monpazier, Domme, Eymet, Beaumont-of-Périgord). The landscape is undulating with many possibilities of excursions pedestrian, cyclists, equestrian as well as the walks on the Dordogne river in the canoe, kayak or gabarre. |
