Country gites with Heated swimming pool : Our countryside property is situated outside the village of Angliers, 15 minutes from the historic port of La Rochelle on the west coast of France. This secluded 250 year old farmhouse, set in 5 acres of fields surrounded by hedgerow, is a safe environment for families and couples alike, a calm and relaxing place for all. You can explore many of the region's attractions, museums, sights, beaches and islands, all within a short drive from us or just put your feet up and take it easy in a hammock or by the pool. .
Accommodation composes of five gites ,a 4 bedroom maison (sleeps 8* built for wheelchair access), a 2 bedroom duplex (sleeps 4*), a 2 bedroom écurie (sleeps 4*), a 1 bedroom écurie (sleeps 2*) and a studio (sleeps 2*) , the studio can be combined with the two bedroom to make a large three bedroom écurie (sleeps 6*) gite. All are different and unique, incorporating many of the original features of the old barns.
Each gite has a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, cooker, microwave,kettle, toaster, and coffee machine, an open plan living room with television and DVD, each bathroom includes a washing machine and bedrooms a CD player/alarm clock. The gites are set in their own grounds with a patio and lawn.
The on-site amenities consist of; a swimming pool, table tennis, badminton, boules, swings, goal post, seesaw, sand pit and a large field for ball games as well as a small wood with picnic tables and BBQs.
The beaches of Ile de Re, La Rochelle, Chatelaillon-Plage and Fouras all within a 20 minute drive from us, as is the Venise verte and Benon wood. Cognac, Puy du Fou, Saintes, La Palmyre zoo, Royan and Futuroscope at Poitiers are all within easy reach. |
