La Cappellina Bed and Breakfast near Florence : The Bed and Breakfast “La Cappellina” is 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Florence, is on the hill.Signora Cristina will give you a warm welcome to her house (small villa) in the Villa Medici area, close to the small chapel which belonged to the ancient and noble florentine family de’ Medici Tornaquinci. The large sitting-room with fireplace and huge windows gives access to the beautiful terrace from which you look onto a wonderful landscape of the Chianti hills. The terrace, which is reachable also from some of the other rooms, has comfortable furniture for peaceful reading and relaxation.
In spring and summer, when the weather is good, breakfast can be served on the terrace; guests can use the terrace table and barbecue facilities for preparing their own meals. Breakfast will include bread, butter, jam, croissants, honey, yogurt, cereals, eggs, fruit, orange juice, as well as typical Tuscan cheeses and cold cuts.
The buses with number 31 and 32 connect Grassina with Firenze. The house is fully air-conditioned and offers all the opportunities to relax. In particular, for foreign guests, it is possible to take cooking and Italian language courses for one week or for a weekend. We could provide information about artistic and touristic places to visit, but also exhibitions, concerts and the most interesting events taking place in Florence.
