De location exists of a villa with terrace, an annex with open fire place, a garage and a big garden (>1000 m2) and is situated in the village of Mensil Val (part of the community of Criel sur Mer). Places near (< 5 km) are Criel sur Mer and Le Treport. Bigger cities nearby are Eu and Dieppe.
Detailed description
The house / villa has a bathroom with bath tub and toilet, a L-shaped living room of which one part has a sleeping couch and 2 fauteuils and the other part of the L has a big dining table with 6 chairs. The terrace doors give access to a spacious terrace where you can put plastic table and chairs (is all present) to have breakfast or coffee when the whether is nice.
The kitchen has a gas cooker with oven, a dish washer and a fridge. Cutlery and plates, cups, dishes etc. are present. The house has central heating.
The upper floor has a big bedroom with a big 2 persons bed and a children's bedroom with a bunkbed.

Activities
In the summer you can take a dip in the sea. Furthermore there are the forests of Domaine D'Eu, the Bresle river for rowing and canoeing and plenty possibilities to make day marches and tours on the bicycle. A walk along the Falaise cliffs between Mesnil Val and Le Treport is very recommendable (about 5 km walk).
Restaurants
A good restaurant is hotel/restaurant Maine in the old railway station in Eu. At the beach in Mesnil Val (2 min. walk from the house) there is the acceptable "Resto a la Plage". They serve a good formula (locally) known, including a very good cold buffet for starters (actually the cold buffet/starters is the best part of the meal). In Le Treport there are fish restaurants on the boulevard. There are many but they are not all that great. Some are acceptable.
Shopping
Dieppe has good stores for clothes, shoes etc. For the daily food shoppings there is the enormous Auchan supermarket in Le Treport nearby. A village grocery shop / little supermarket can be found at the end of the main street at 5 minutes walk from the house. |
