There are monuments and towns to visit:Auxerre, Dijon, Beaune, Abbaye de Fontenay, Château d'Ancy le Franc, Tanlay Maulnes, medieval cities of Noyers on Serein, Semur en Auxois, the Vix vase of Chatillon sur Seine, the Epoisses cheese and that of Chaource are assets ..... and the visit of washing houses finely restored! You can walk or mountain bike in the surrounding countryside walks are keys in the Tonnerre and chatillonnais, the Canal de Bourgogne is convenient for bike rides on the towpaths for that purpose. |
