The Old Barn Bed & Breakfast : Lagrauliére is a quiet village in the heart of the Corrèze, central France.
Fast transfer by air from several UK airports to Limoges and excellent motorway connections make your journey easy and comfortable. Car Hire is available from the airport (Hertz) at very low daily rates when booked in conjunction with your flights.

Situated on the edge of Lagrauliére this beautiful barn conversion has three letting rooms from 13m² (15 sq. yards) to 39m² (46 sq. yards) all equipped with TV and DVD player, bathrobes as required and basic toiletteries; a large guests lounge, séjour (day room) and permanent access to the kitchen for refreshments; tea, coffee, non-alcoholic cold drinks etc..

The Corrèze is famous for its Limousin beef and apple production. Lagraulière in particular is a cattle area which gives a picturesque landscape of rolling pastures with heavily wooded areas of outstanding natural beauty and many walks. The 500 acre foret de Blanchefort, situated in Lagraulière is especially beautiful attracting a wide range of wildlife.

La Vieille Grange is run by Peter Clayson, who have lived in France since 1997 and will be happy to help smooth the way for those who feel their French is rusty.

Local amenities include several restaurants (some English speaking) a few local shops including a bakery and a bank all within easy reach, there is also a large swimming lake at nearby Seilhac and a local swimming pool. For those of you who just want to relax our large garden is very welcoming.

Tourist attractions are wide and varied including the spectacular waterfalls at Gimel les Cascades and the wonderful subterranean lakes and grottos at Rocamadour; several wildlife parks and activity centres; museums and medieval towns.

For the comfort and tranquillity of our guests we have adopted a no smoking policy. For those of you with allergies please be aware that we have cats and three friendly dogs.


We have a Sky satellite dish, so if you wish to bring your decoder you will receive free to view channels and possibly your regular pay channels, depending on your contract.
