' LA MAISON BOURGEOISE' : Gite and B & B Rooms : GITE FOR 6/8 PEOPLE AND B & B ROOMS IN AN OLD FORTIFIED VILLAGE, IN THE BEAUTIFUL AUVERGNE
Description : 'Le Fenil' is a large Rural Gite for 6/8 people (125m²), created in the old hay loft, next to 'La Maison Bourgeoise'and located in the old fortified village of St Vincent, in Puy-de-Dome Central France. Sympathetically restored, it retains exposed stone walls and beams. There are 3 bedrooms (2 with double beds (140 x 190) and one with 2 single beds (80 x 190) plus a sofa bed (160 x 200), 2 bathrooms with baths and shower, 2 WCs, plus a large open-plan living room. The kitchen is equipped to a high standard (double sink, oven, extractor hood, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave etc) and a large dining table. The private terrace with BBQ and garden are accessed through the French window. Beautiful views across the courtyard and the valley of Couze-Pavin. Access to large enclosed garden and secure parking in the courtyard. A perfect base from which to explore 2 national parks : Les Volcans d'Auvergne to the west and the Livradois-Forez to the east.
Description B & B rooms : Two large rooms have been created on the 2nd floor of the main house, each one with its large private shower-room and WC. The rooms have been tastefully decorated and are extremely comfortable. Each room has a large double bed (160 x 200) and it's own ensuite facilities. Bedroom Lavelle is extremely large and can easily take 1 or 2 folding beds, thus creating a family room. Breakfast comprises a copious selection of bread and pastries, home-made jams, local yoghurts, fruit & cereals and is served in the dining room. John serves evening meals at a price of 22 euros per person. A beautiful courtyard with private parking and a large, terraced garden are at the disposal of guests.
